Woodmont Baptist Church

Woodmont is a church . . .. . . where lives are changed through application of scripture, pursuit of holiness and commitment to Godly relationships. We are a church that practices forgiveness and patience with others, yet expects an aspiration in all for Godly living through Christian discipline and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.

. . . where joyful worship is experienced in active participation. We seek out visitors and strangers for greeting and opportunity to include them in the relational experiences of the church family.

. . . where we see visitors and strangers as “God sent” and make every effort to minister and nurture them in the knowledge of God’s saving grace through His gospel. We recognize that God may not send seekers to people that do not care for and nurture them.

. . . that has recaptured the spirit of evangelism and reaches out to the community for lost people to bring them to Christ. We are a church that will speak the name of God to those we meet and offer His grace to those in need. We will invite lost people to share in the joy of our relationship with God and each other.

. . . where families of differing church backgrounds can attend together and be nurtured spiritually. We desire to keep families worshiping together in an environment where all may grow spiritually.

. . . where all members are equipped for acts of service.

. . . that actively engages and strives to be the conscience of our community.

. . . that gives aid to the community in time of need.

. . . that is a well-established place of prayer. Prayer is the power behind the things we are able to accomplish and we petition God constantly for power from Him.
