William Tucker's idea of radio led him to seek Sincere Seven's 15+ years' of experience to lead this FCC, non-profit, community radio project. On May 14, 2014, the FCC awarded several non-profits, including Sincere Seven, licenses to operate low-power, non-commercial radio stations. William's concept was born. As General Manager, he would build support from DC talkers, musicians, poets, organizations and businesses. As a non-profit, he would be transparent and accountable to "the community;" and S7 would deliver radio broadcasts of DC voices. Through a rich and evolving tapestry of DC history, culture and everyday life we amplify DC voices.
