Located at the corner of Baker and McAllister in the Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco. WorkshopSF (or, simply Workshop) has been operating since September of 2009. Launched by current co-owners Kelly Malone and David Knight, Workshop offers affordable DIY classes for adults, taught by awesome local teachers, makers, artists, foodies and DIY’ers. Workshop offers over 50 classes, from the single class for the commitment-phobics, to the more detailed, multi-day classes for those truly desiring to learn their craft. Workshop stays lo-fi, meaning we keep most classes accessible by using affordable equipment you can use at home. Workshop is also equipped with a complete silk screening facility, basic sewing machines and lotsa tools for just about everything DIY. Workshop believes in hands on instruction! Anyone can learn something from a book or online, but Workshop creates fun, educational experiences with rad teachers.
