World Fashion Parade

We at World Fashion Parade wanted to create a platform for Peace through Fashion by involving countries from around the world to participate in the first ever show of its kind. World Fashion Parade is about celebrating Fashion For Peace by unifying Designers, Models, Artists and world government organizations, such as the United Nations, as well as, the International Human Rights Commission to promote Art, Culture, Fashion, Tourism, and Sustainability. We do this by working with designers and sponsors to make fashion a far more innovative space that reduces its strain on the environment. Currently fast fashion is the 2nd most polluting industry after oil and both natural and human resources go into producing clothes that sometimes cannot even survive 3 wash cycles. For the first time, we will allow designers and their models to directly interact with the audience in real time and allow people to really connect with everything that’s going on using the latest technological advances! By partnering with Non-Profit Uplift Humanity who is providing sustainable infrastructure to developing communities globally which will help spread peace and happiness by raising the quality of life for all affected.

Why Start in New York?

If we could say where’s the best place to launch an ambitious idea, it would most certainly be New York City! Everyone here is always looking to collaborate with each other to create amazing projects that the world ends up talking about. With almost 200 languages spoken, 40 percent of the NYC population was born outside of the United States. Combine the cultural and ethnic diversity of the residents with the hundreds of consulates, embassies and permanent U.N. missions and you have a cosmopolitan city unlike any other in the world. All of this diversity and spirit is why we decided to keep the start of every Season in New York City. With that said, we want to further extend the invitation to the city of New York and the Mayor whose been fighting income inequality, quality education, and safety. Mayor De Blasio’s commitment of inclusiveness, is encouraging to us as we create a show that truly encompasses the entire globe.
By partnering with World Fashion Parade, the mayor’s office will receive huge exposure as we’ve partnered with premier news networks such as Huffington Post, NBC, Forbes Cinemoi, and Business Insider. Influencers like Xerxes Frenchiani (@doublex) and Biel (@biel) will provide exposure to a younger audience and educate them on NYC missions and inclusiveness. Together these outlets will provide exposure to an audience of over 10 million people while cementing New York’s Stance on equality, opportunity and inclusiveness.
