Wounded Warriors In Action Eagle River Muskie Chal-Lunge

Wounded Warriors in Action is a non profit national association serving our Nation’s combat wounded Purple Heart recipients by providing world class outdoor sporting activities for them. It is hoped that these events will help to recognize and honor their sacrifice, while encouraging independence and promote healing.

Each year, Eagle River, Wisconsin hosts a WWIA event as the Eagle River Muskie Chal-Lunge takes place in September. We match up some of the top fishing "Pros" in the Northwoods with the wounded Vets for a Muskie fishing adventure on the Eagle River Chain of Lakes. Among the fishermen joining us each year is fishing legend and television personality Joe Bucher. Joe’s company, Joe Bucher Outdoors, is a major sponsor of our event.

Eagle River has been hosting the Muskie Chal-Lunge for three years with this year's event taking place the weekend of September 22-24 at Eagle Waters Resort
