Words are only worth the meaning we give them. Behind every fond nickname, or hateful slur, words only mean what we allow them to mean to us. Without meaning, these are just empty strings of letters. Everyone has an identity, a story, a background, a history. Not one person can really be summed up in one word, but that doesn't stop the haters from trying. Any and every insult that can be thrown at you..they're all the same. They'll stay the same until we change the meaning. It doesn't matter what your struggle has been. Everyone will encounter opposition. Everyone will be labeled by the
haters. But it's our choice to decide whether we let that opposition hold us down, or empower us; whether we let the haters hold us back, or push us
forward onto greatness. So instead we'll take these labels on as badges of pride. We will take these words and change their meanings.
