Wushu Shaolin was established in 2001 by Sifu Sal Redner and a group of avid enthusiasts from San Pedro, California. Initially, the group practiced at the San Pedro Korean Bell and a local community center called Toberman Settlement Home. After many years at Toberman, Wushu Shaolin helped rehabilitate numerous youth free of charge.
In 2004, the founder of Wushu Shaolin moved to Northern California after receiving acceptance to the University of California Berkeley. After graduating from the university of California Berkeley, Sifu Sal returned back to Los Angeles where he established the headquarters of Wushu Shaolin Kung Fu. On January 1st, 2009 Wushu Shaolin Kung Fu Headquarters was officially established with a Grand Opening ceremony. It was a spectacular event in which numerous Shaolin Monks From China attended. Today, Wushu Shaolin continues to strive with more members joining every year.
