Wy-Var Realty, LLC Christine Wyly - Broker

Christine Wyly has been a resident of Amarillo since 1973. She left a public accounting career in 2004 to become a Realtor, licensed in the state of Texas. Her business philosophies are guided by the principles of a strong lifelong work ethic, and natural ability and sincere desire to take care of people. She earned her broker's license in 2015, and founded WY-VAR Realty, LLC. Her brokerage engages in residential real estate investment, property management, and buyer and seller representation. WY-VAR Realty, LLC sells residential real estate, historic properties, rural properties, and Christine serves as a consultant to various attorneys and accountants pertaining to real estate matters.

She is a parent of two daughters and has six grandchildren. Christine is a member of the Amarillo Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce. She serves on Board of Directors of the Amarillo Association of Realtors, the Multiple Listing Service Committee, and the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Amarillo Association of Realtors. She previously served on the Community Outreach Committee of the Amarillo Association of Realtors, and served on the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce Women's Council Steering Committee. She is currently serving on the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce City Beautification Committee.

Christine writes about historic Amarillo neighborhoods and regional history; her articles have been published in various magazines and websites. She authored the book "Amarillo's Historic Wolflin District" - The book is included in Arcadia Publishing's "Images of America Series" and is available at Amazon.com and the Arcadia Publishing website, as well as Barnes and Noble and Hastings. Her latest work as the author of the book, "Faces, Places and Open Spaces" in conjunction with the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce and in partnership with photographer Ralph Duke was published in the spring of 2012 by Historical Publishing Network. She also was a contributing author for the book "Historic Lexington - Heart of the Blue Grass." Various of her articles appear in "Amarillo Magazine" and "Amarillo Living" as well as in various websites about the Texas Panhandle.
