Peer leaders at The Xchange Center draw from their own success to provide practical skill-building support & opportunities for others. Our peer-delivered services aim to help people initiate and sustain long-term recovery and gain overall wellness through:
*Connection with needed services and resources, case advocacy, development of skills for self‐care and recovery self management
*Development of social skills needed for successful recovery, wellness, and community living
*Peer-facilitated Recovery Support Meetings/Groups
*Education, Career Planning & Resources Identification
*Employment readiness (e.g. resume building, job interviewing, basic computer skills, etc.)
*Vocational/educational training (e.g. GED tutoring, etc.)
*Recovery Coach Academy/Mentor Training
*Information and Referral
*Gender-Specific Support Groups
*Life Skills (e.g. budgeting, cooking, nutrition, etc.)
*Family Education Program
*Alcohol and Drug Free Social Events
*Volunteer Training Opportunities
