YALA Boston

The organization's purpose is three-fold.
First on our agenda is social networking, by holding events on campus and connecting with Arab student organizations in the Boston area including (HAS, BUAS) we hope to provide a forum for Arab students or students with Arab background or an interest in the MENA region to connect and network. This will enable students to find like-minded people in the same field, recruit for start-ups, and help each other find hidden opportunities in their respective fields.

Secondly, we hope to provide professional development opportunities on campus tailored to Arab students. These opportunities range from holding discussion panels about issues concerning business & entrepreneurship in Arab countries, sponsoring MENA-region specific career fairs, and inviting highly acclaimed speakers and successful Bentley Arab alumni to speak and recruit on campus.

Lastly, we want to bring a piece of home with us. We would like to enable more cultural integration by bringing elements of Arab culture into the community through cultural events, Arabic language programs, arts and culture opportunities, and holding events and exhibitions with other Arab student organizations in the Boston Area.
