More about Yale Entertainment and Sports - YES.Inc

Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, as far as I can remember Sports has always been my number one passion. I decided at a very young age that I wanted to be involved in the sports world in some capacity. I ran with that passion and graduated from Temple University in 1995 with a B.S. in Sports and Recreational Management.

Back in 1995, I took an unpaid internship with the Jewish Community Center in West Palm Beach as a Sports Assistant. Shortly after, I became the Recreation Coordinator until 1999 and then I moved to the newly built Boynton Jewish Community Center where I became the Recreation and Wellness Director.

In 2001, I decided to go out on my own and founded Yale Sports Enterprises, Inc., which provided recreational services to the Ross Jewish Community Center in Boynton Beach and Mandel Jewish Community Center in Palm Beach Gardens. Hundreds of youth and adults consider Yale Sports Enterprises, Inc. and the JCC their home for recreation due to our fun and safe environment. Sports activities were provided year round for everyone from Pre-K children to active senior adults. Programs throughout the years have included Youth Basketball Leagues, Youth Soccer Leagues, Pre-School Enrichment Classes, After-school Sports Classes and Clubs, Sports Birthday Parties, Adult Basketball, Adult Softball, Adult Flag Football and Adult Stickball Leagues.

In addition to these programs, Yale Sports Enterprises, Inc. organized Summer Sports Camps at both the Ross JCC and Mandel JCC for grades Pre-K to 8th. Yale Sports Enterprises, Inc. has successfully built the Ross JCC Sports Camp starting with 45 campers per week in the summer of 2002 to averaging over 150 campers per week during the summer of 2014. We have also seen the implementation of our 3-year-old and Pre-K sports camp in the summer of 2003, which now averages 50 campers per week. We just finished our second summer at the Mandel JCC and our numbers increased from 30 to 85 campers from the first summer in 2013.

With the loss of my father and sister in the last 5 years due to Cancer and the loss of my mother in March 2014, I have redirected my mission as to wanting to give back and have now started my non-profit organization called Yale Entertainment & Sports Inc. (YES, Inc.) with our slogan being JOIN THE YES MOVEMENT to increase and raise money for Cancer Research, as well as to contribute to religious organizations.
