More about YBnationstop the violence

In an effort to stop the violence on the streets, I am introducing a clothing line in honor of my son, Rashaan, who was violently taken from the earth, in a violent manner. My son, YB, as he was known to us proudly wore his two core colors which are red and blue with the bandana design, with pride. The uniting of the two colors represents the unity of all people. This will be a reoccurring theme in all articles of clothing, but in no way shape of form does this identify or back with any affliation, The only thing we are actively affliated with bringing to light the importance of peace and unity. My son may have been taken from this Earth before his time, but he will be honored for the greater good. It's time to make a change in this world, a shift in perspective to say the least. In the time of crisis or major life events we should be able to look to each other for help, support and more importantly love. We need to stop raising up against each other and instead unite to make come to life the vision we all have for the future we know we deserve. Violence in the streets is just distracting us fom the real problems at hand. For instance, when we feel that are basic needs are threatened we turn to the impulsive nature of attacking and destroying to attain what we need, instead we could all unite to find a solution that doesn't involve the destructive of ourselves and the people around us. It should not be a day of fearing thy neighbor, that's when we fail, divided. For best results, we need to be able to trust thy neighbor. In time of crisis, we should be able to turn to our neighbors and overcome any situation or event wit ease. There's a famous motto, "United we stand, divided we fall," which originates from a song created in July 1942 called the Liberty Song and has been adapted to many situations since, is a theme we should keep in mind, when we are faced with the struggles of daily life. We all have to be a part of the bigger change here, do our part to make our presence and voice be a part of a better tomorrow, if not for the sheer enjoyment of being able to enjoy life as we are meant to, but also so that no one has to feel or go through what I am currently going through. The loss of any loved one, ecspecially a child is a pain that words can't always describe. I will overcome, with my hard work on a daily,Rashaan will be honored. In an effort to stop the violence on the streets, I am introducing a clothing line in honor of my son, Rashaan, who was violently taken from the earth, in a violent manner.
