YCC Family Crisis Center

The Homeless/Housing Assistance Center provides services to assist individuals and families move from homelessness to qualifying for low-income housing with the ultimate goal for some, of achieving home ownership.

The Family Enrichment Center provides supportive services to at-risk families including educational parenting classes, life skills and self-esteem classes for adults. Children's self-esteem, empathy, alternatives to violence, sexual assault and sexual harassment prevention classes are provided on-site at YCC and in area schools. Free childcare services are provided on-site to families working toward self-sufficiency. Limited medical referrals are provided for families participating in YCC programs.

The Domestic Violence Victim Assistance Center provides 24/7-crisis intervention, shelter, and safety for victims of domestic violence and their children. Over four hundred women and children are helped each year by this program. An After Care program is provided to the families to assist them in setting up new households in the community free from an abusive environment. Domestic violence support counseling and groups are provided in English and Spanish to victims and their children. Social Service Workers provide weekly educational groups on domestic violence to the inmates at the two Weber County Correctional facilities. YCC is the only provider of domestic violence services in a two county area, Weber and Morgan.
