About us
Y.E.A.H Ministries is a youth lead ministry with one primary focus, getting young people excited about Christ! The acronym Y.E.A.H stands for Youth Excited About Him! Our goal is to educate and excite young people with the Word of God through the use of our various talents: Ministering, teaching, miming, praise dancing, singing, etc. The best way to excite young people is through other young people. Today's youth are easily influenced by their peers, what's being put before them and deemed cool by others around them is likely what they will be susceptible to. Look at the majority of today's youth: what's being put before them is rap, sex, drugs, violence, etc… God is being put on the back burner! We must change this!
Mission statement: Our mission is to excite the youth in the community of Vicksburg and surrounding areas about Christ by displaying young people who are already on fire for Him.
This summer the Ministry has planned its first annual youth rally! This rally will feature several speakers from within the community and other areas, miming and praise dancing, soloist from within the community, and youth choirs. This will be an all day event!
