YEARS is a new musical that follows the lives of two best friends, Tristan and Xander, through their more than 15 year friendship. Their lives are seen from adolescence to young adulthood, bouncing back and forth between the past and the present, to better understand how they got to where they are today.

Tristan is a hopeless romantic who dreams of being a recording artist. He falls for his sister’s best friend Michael. Michael is the kind of person who needs to be the star in the relationship. But will that ever allow Tristan a chance to shine on his own?

Xander began dating Becca at a very young age, but as an adult Becca seems to have matured and want more from life. While Xander seems stuck in the past content to leave things as they’ve always been. How long can these two opposing ideals last?

Both Xander and Tristan have complicated relationships with their parents. These will lead to a devastating conflict neither of them were prepared for. A conflict that will affect everyone in their lives, especially each other.
