Yoga Alliance

Yoga Alliance is the largest international nonprofit association representing the yoga community. We promote and support the integrity and diversity of the teaching of yoga. We have over 81,000 RYT and more than 5,400 RYS registrants, and beyond 9,000 YACEP members.

Yoga Alliance and Yoga Alliance Registry are related organizations that work together to support the yoga community. Yoga Alliance is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) membership professional and trade association. Yoga Alliance Registry is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public charity. For the sake of simplicity, we sometimes refer to the related organizations collectively as “Yoga Alliance.”

Yoga Alliance Registry conducts our credentialing and developmental activities. Our credentialing activities include the teacher and school registries. Yoga Alliance provides member benefits and services, including our Member Perks and Online Workshops.
