Yoga Is Now

Yoga Is Now is dedicated to bringing yoga to those who seek it. This site offers basic yoga instruction, alignment tips, blog posts, and schedules and locations for Kim Hannan, RYT 200.

Yoga Sutra 1.1, Atha yoga anushasanam, translates to "Now is the time for yoga."

This simple statement offers a world of possibility and welcome. It doesn't matter if you've never practiced yoga, if you've fallen out of practice, or if you're an experiment. Yoga is ready to welcome you.

Through the practice of yoga, we learn to bring the mind to single focus, allowing us to truly "be present". As trite as that phrase may be in today's world, it's a powerful concept that few of us have mastered, yet through our practices of yoga, we move closer to that goal.
