The Yoga Workshop was founded in 1987 by Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor for the advancement of Ashtanga Vinyasa. As one of the oldest and most respected Ashtanga studios in the United States, we are renowned for our evolved approach to the discipline. Now under the direction of Ty and Shayan Landrum, we continue to offer the highest quality instruction in Mysore-style Ashtanga. Our classes and workshops are designed to communicate the contemplative essence of Ashtanga, while continually refining the foundational elements of breath, bandha, dristhi, mudra, movement and postural form.
