Our Story:

The mission continues!

The Yogurt & Love Los Gatos mission to spread love and joy with every bowl of frozen yogurt continues with new ownership by two local families. As of August 1st, 2016 the Lucca family has thoughtfully transitioned one of Los Gatos’ most beloved family-owned specialty treat stops to the Brian & Jodee Clayton and Derick & Sierra Phan families.

How did this transition come about?

In one word: Serendipity! It wasn’t more than a couple of months ago our two families were first-time customers of Yogurt & Love LG and became quickly smitten with its “good vibe feeling” and top-notch customer experience. While complementing Kayla and Shawn Lucca on their wonderful shop, it was shared by the Lucca’s that the business was for sale and they’d been searching for the “right” family to transition the business to for a number of weeks. The revelation of the business being for sale couldn’t have been more surprising to these new patrons, but serendipitously it was only a few months prior that these “soon-to-be new owners” of this fine establishment had actually considered opening a yogurt shop together (before the harsh reality of franchising fees and restrictions smothered their excitement).

From that day forward new friendships were established between the Luccas, Claytons, and Phans that would forever become part of the fabric of Yogurt & Love’s legacy! Brian, Jodee, Derick and Sierra feel extremely honored to be able to continue the journey that the Lucca family so belovedly started over two years ago.

So, what’s next?

Our aspiration is to delight every Yogurt & Love LG patron through the continued delivery of excellent customer service, quality of yogurt, variety of freshly prepared offerings, store cleanliness and of course, bring a little love and joy into everyone’s lives. Our ownership team believes this aspiration and unbridled passion is a key differentiator in an industry that tends to be run by corporate franchises that focus on the bottom line rather than building relationships with their patrons. Through these relationships, the feedback they provide and a dash of our own spice, we’ll continue to evolve the Yogurt & Love experience and offerings.
