Young Children's Center for the Arts

The Center’s mission is to enrich the lives of children from infancy through kindergarten through the participation in the creative and fine arts. We accomplish this by providing a structured creative arts curriculum within an enhanced daycare environment. Children’s motor, language, emotional and cognitive skills are developed through music, art and movement. Each time ideas are presented through a different art form, learning becomes reinforced, and children’s expressive abilities are enhanced. Young Children’s Center for the Arts is one of the few preschool programs in our area that not only accepts, but embraces, children with pervasive developmental disabilities in an inclusion program.
