Welcome to Young Guns Ranch's Facebook! The idea for Young Guns Ranch was started by myself, Lance Greene in my senior year of high school when my former boss Gus Hollomon introduced me to the idea of raising poultry. This idea went from a hobby and way to make money, to an obsession very quickly. The first thing I had in mind was involving my two younger brothers Luke and Landen, because of this, we ended up naming our business Triple L Poultry. My girlfriend Sammie quickly became hooked just like myself and ended up becoming a huge part of Triple L Poultry.We all worked on advancing the business and growing in size, but it was too quick and immediately became swamped with work and business. Soon after, Sam and I were headed to college at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, almost two hours away. We struggled to keep up with being full time freshman in college and running a large and successful business. We decided to sell out so that we no longer had a feed bill and could focus more on our studies. Halfway through our first semester we started having chicken withdrawls, we then devised a plan to start over from the ground up with a new identity that would encompass all the animals that we would eventually like to raise, thus came Young Guns Ranch. We have always been told by our customers how crazy it is for us to be this young and running a business, customers liked to call us The Young Guns of the poultry industry, and it just fit! That's how we chose the name, and this go around we wanted to ensure that we raised the highest quality and healthiest birds in the area so our entire base comes from reputable and proven breeders across the country. This will further increase our quality level and help us selectively breed so that we only keep the best of the best to sell to you!
