Christian Outreach Program

Youth With A Purpose Boys Home (YWAP) is our-denominational Christian Ministry for troubled youths. Our donation-based outreach program is located on an 86-acre farm in Eastern Ohio.
Since we do not receive any government funding for our work, we are able to put Jesus first in all of our ministry services and lessons. We are able to take boys based on their need to come, and there is no fee to the boys' families for the services we provide.

Family Setting
While at YWAP, the boys are challenged to change their lives through a systematic approach. The boys share in normal family responsibilities of both the home and farm. They also experience the rewards of family, by receiving nurturing care and support by those in the "family".




Schooling
While at YWAP all boys attend appropriate schools or pursue academics. Since 1995 we have had well over 200 students, and virtually all of the boys have attended school at or through the Southern Local School system. All boys are monitored very closely to see that homework assignments and necessary course work is completed.
How Can We Help?
If you have or know of a child who needs help, call us at 330-679-1013 and describe the situation. We will talk to the parents and child involved to determine if they will profit by a placement with us. We accept boys between the ages of 8-21 who are at risk of growing up and becoming unproductive adults.
Donations and Volunteering
We are dependent on Christian people to provide the funds for the operation and expansion of this program. We also have opportunities for volunteers to help us by working and making improvements on our 87-acre farm, or by teaching and mentoring the boys in our program.
