We all know poor choices are part of growing up. Unfortunately, for incarcerated youth, the poverty and dysfunction that led to their mistakes create a cycle of crime and incarceration difficult for any teen to overcome alone.
Youth With Faces, formerly known as Youth Village Resources, is a North Texas nonprofit organization that gives young men and women in the juvenile justice system a second chance at being more than a statistic. We are there with accountability, respect and a belief in their potential – even before they believe it themselves. They build character, learn essential life and employment skills, and put them into practice.
As a result, they break the cycle of incarceration and create a new identity as a capable young person with something positive to contribute.
