YUMMY FINDS
Yummy Finds was originally opened in November OF 2009. In February of 2010, Courtney & Rudy Figuerova took over the business. In the fall of 2016, Courtney felt led to close the doors. It was heartbreaking, but she knew that if the Lord was calling her to this, knowing that there is great blessing in obedience, then her obedience should follow. After officially closing the doors to Yummy Finds, through a pastor at her church, the Lord confirmed the closing of the doors, and revealed a seed. This seed would have to be allowed to die completely in order for it to grow & mature into something even more beautiful! A seed has to first die in order to then become a mature plant & begin to produce a plentiful harvest of new lives! Only at that time she was not aware of what it would be.

PERPETUAL HELP HOME
Perpetual Help Home is a housing program for woman and their children that has been in operation since 1995.

Since our doors opened in 1995, we've experienced exciting growth and continue to have an impact on our community. The primary success of the home is that the staff has provided a safe loving environment for women to change not only their life but also the lives of their children!

Over the years, we saw great success in women changing behaviors to live healthy lives, but the ability to earn a decent wage was an on-going challenge. So in 2006, we opened the social enterprise of the Center for Peace to provide women an opportunity to learn skills to earn more.

CENTER FOR PEACE
The Center for Peace is a multifaceted social enterprise that is operated out of Perpetual Help Home. The Center is designed for the women learn entrepreneurship, business, computer and office skills, helping them to become more marketable when searching for employment. One training program called Freedom Capital Ventures allows women to apply for a small loan to open a business. Two businesses have successfully opened; Stella’s Sassy Salsa and Luna Juice.

The newest training program is called Restaurant Academy. The Academy needed a place to operate. A week after the closing of Yummy Finds, the Director was introduced to Courtney and Rudy. The rest is history
