Our restaurant's heritage springs from the campfires of Ghengis Kahn (1162-1227) and Kublai Khan
(1215-1294)
In the 13th century, the mighty Khans and their Mongolian warriors created the world's largest empire.
Conquering was hard work and created tremendous appetites in people who were very accusstomed
to getting theings "their way". They, like you, often found themselves pressed for time and were not
fond of waiting for their meals.
Over 800 years ago, a brillliant solution was created. Warriors placed their heavy round iron shields
over a roaring campfire. Slicing meat and vegetables thinly, with razor sharp swords, then adding
noodles, fragrant oils, tasty sauces, herbs and spices. Their meals were ready in just a few minutes.
We are proud of our heritage and think we improved upon it. After all, you don't need to bring your
sword and shield to the Yummy Mongolian BBQ and we offer take out.
