YWAM BEND, Oregon

As you may know, our world is not functioning according to it’s original design because of our general selfishness and ignorance. People are suffering from inadequate food, water, shelter, and energy on a daily basis. The true cause of these problems, however, is people without purpose. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

We feel the leading of The Lord to model this culture through the influence of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in the strategic city of Bend, Oregon. It’s a mountain community with many young outdoor enthusiasts and social entrepreneurs who are striving to make a difference. We have a passion to disciple these young adults with spiritual character and train them with physical skills through our various YWAM ministries. We are excited to create an environment of organic gardening, animal husbandry, and appropriate architecture to achieve this dream.

The exciting vision of YWAM Bend cannot be focused on the geographic location or the building development; the vision must be about the people, because the Glory of God is man fully alive! Our apostolic leadership team primarily exists to create a consecrated community focused on the person, teachings, and presence of Jesus. Hosting the Presence of God and living by the Word of God, world changers will cultivate a culture of transformation that incorporates the nature of God in every area of life and sphere of society.

We believe God’s calling includes YWAM Bend partnering with the regional Body of Christ. We must not only share the Good News but also equip the saints to carry the Gospel of the Kingdom to the nations. The NorthWest Regional YWAM elder Ron Boehme prophetically says, “The fourth wave of modern missions will involve people of all ages and nationalities, reaching everyone in the world, using innovative technologies and relational approaches, in all spheres of life, with every believer being missional.” YWAM BEND will be a missional community that empowers leaders with Biblical Education for Nation Development.
