YWCA Rhode Island is proud of the breadth and depth of our programs as well as our continued impact. By harnessing the potential of every woman, we bring real change for gender equality and racial justice. We empower youth in girl-centric programs such as Rosie's Girls STEM skills and the Fantastic Girltastic Code Company™. We build community among those who work for racial justice at annual Stand Against Racism events. We offer statewide programming with campus locations in Central Falls, Providence and Woonsocket. Our offerings include childcare, health education, GED and life skills for teen parents, physical activity and socialization for the young, adult and teen sports, women's political empowerment, financial literacy and more. YWCA provides case management for women with disabilities at our permanent supportive housing program – Sarah Frances Grant Homestead and for veterans at our transitional housing program – Gateway to Independence.
