The Family Self-Sufficiency Program (FSS) helps families receiving rental assistance through the ZMHA Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8), or Public Housing Program to take the steps to find and maintain stable employment that will lead to self-sufficiency and freedom from any and all government assistance
If you want to finish school, find a better job, or maintain your current job, the FSS program can work for you.
Participation in the FSS Program is voluntary. If you choose to participate, you will sign a five-year contract and develop goals for becoming self-sufficient. After signing the contract, it is up to you to work toward your goals, with the support of the FSS team.
