Zeta Tau Alpha NCSU

The Iota Phi chapter of the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation is the 211th link out of 246 links around the country. On February 4, 1989 the Iota Phi chapter was established at NCSU. Since then, the Iota Phi chapter has been ranked in the top 5 chapters in the nation and has repeatedly received honors and awards from International Office. In the past five years, ZTA has been one of nine sororities to be nominated for “best sorority” at NC State.Our members continually receive awards from Greek Life for their relentless dedication to their studies and involvement around campus.
Our chapter is extremely passionate about our philanthropy- breast cancer education and awareness. Our major philanthropy events are the Crown Classic Golf Tournament in the fall, our annual Spaghetti Dinner in the spring, Princess for a Day in the fall and spring, and Pink Out Week in the fall. In October of 2011 our chapter implemented our first Pink Out Week which consisted of an entire week of events on campus to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer. The Week kicked off with the Crown Classic Golf Tournament and consisted of several events such as the Pink Out Your House Competition between sororities and fraternities, Paint the Free Expression Tunnel Pink, a Wear Pink for free Pink Lemonade and Jimmy Johns Sandwiches day. Zeta Tau Alpha also always supports other sororities on campus in their fundraising and we love attending other philanthropy events!
