The Zeyzani name is derived from its designer’s first name [Zeynep] and the fabric name “suzani” which is used in Zeyzani's first collection: One of a Kind.

Zeyzani's first collection, One of a Kind, is made from suzani fabric, hand-stitched silk by artisans in Uzbekistan, with vibrantly colored motifs of tulips, paisleys, pomegranates, grapevines and other designs from ancient Greece and the Ottoman Empire. Because the suzani fabric is hand-stitched, every Zeyzani is one-of-a-kind, no two are alike.
