DJ Warren is the primary admin on this page and was the Director of the Athens Farmers Market (2012-2017). I strive to bring you the most up to date information available about local markets, farming/gardening information, and occasionally a few things that are sure to give you a chuckle!

It was a great honor to develop the idea of a farmers market in my local community. After 5 seasons, a new job, and a new start, it was time for me to pass the baton. It is always a hard task to do filled with fear that things will not be continued to the extreme that they were developed, but I am blessed to have many passions in my life and am excited to cultivate them for my future! I love the community that were patrons, vendors, and those of both who became my weekend farmers market family. You hold a special place in my heart and will forever be cherished! I was happy to be able to leave my community with a thriving framework and heaps of enthusiam behind this local endeavor; I hope my community continues to facilitate the many positive and endearing relationships that have flourished!
