Located in an historic building within sight of Floyd's only stoplight, noteBooks has been offering new and used books for eleven years. We also offer local music and musical supplies, art and craft supplies; puzzles, stationary, and gifts. We are especially known for our selection of children's picture books and works by local authors.

Black Water Loft has been serving gourmet coffee and treats with a view over South Locust street since 2004. Climb the stairs to discover a delicious variety of coffee and espresso drinks made with beans from Red Rooster Coffee Roaster. We also serve gourmet tea, all-fruit smoothies. slushies, hot chocolate, local kombucha and sodas. Our bakery cases are filled with house-made baked goods including croissants and sweet rolls baked fresh every morning. We offer a large and exclusive selection of the finest gluten-free, wheat-free, vegan, and allergy-friendly items you will find in the region.
