Munhacke is a Lenni Lenape word that means "Badger" Camp Munhacke is a 120-acre camp located on Bruin Lake, roughly 15 minutes north of Chelsea, Michigan. Camp Munhacke is the primary camp for Southern Shores Field Service Council, (Michigan Crossroads Council), hosting Cub Scout Summer Camp during the summer. The camp features 4 cabins and 12 campsites. It also borders the Pinckney Recreation Area and connects to the Potawatami Trail. The camp hosts 2,000 campers in a 6 week summer season, and approx. 15,000 through the course of the year.
