Canaan Baptist Church

In July 2006, the Holy Spirit led Rev. Derrick Brennan to return to his home church, the Canaan Baptist Church of Philadelphia, where he succeeded the Rev. Dr. Gus Roman. Canaan Baptist Church is a large thriving urban congregation, that highlights a Discipleship Institute, a Christian Arts Ministry, a Daycare Center that has been in operation for over 30 years, a credit union and a thriving community development corporation. Canaan remains at the leading edge of local, national and international missions.
