Caringplace

Westminster Interfaith Caring Place (WICP) will become known as "caringplace" by dropping the first two words of its name for the simpler doing-business-as-name, "caringplace". While Facebook requires the title name to begin with an uppercase "C", we will use "caringplace" from this point forward in our website and literature. Watch for our new branding to be publicized.
Coupled with our new name, we now embark on a new community outreach program called the Elders Learning and Nurture (ELAN) Project. Our outreach will extend into community residential centers, senior centers, assisted living centers, and nursing homes to provide an outlet for the frail elderly and those with cognitive impairments to enjoy creative expression and to foster current skills and capacities. Staff has been selected for training and certification in each of the ELAN programs and is funded by the Creative Ministries Program of the Presbyterian Women (PCUSA).
