FAQ's


What kind of photographer are you?
*I am an on location natural light photographer. I prefer to practice a lifestyle based session, where I capture the love and emotion of the session without purposefully pushing "poses" and forced "smiles". I offer studio sessions with lighting & backdrop setups for Ages 3mo-10 years, lighting setups for Headshots, and event photography.

Where will my session be held?

I offer multiple locations, available for viewing through my albums at chrislynphotography.shootproof.com . I love finding new locations in case you have one in mind that I might be interested in, please let me know. I will travel within distances, and even offer to come to your home. If the session is to be held in the studio, those will be held in Enumclaw, with session address sent the evening before. This is an in home studio that is rented per session, and I ask that everyone respect the home and hours that are used.


How long will my session be? Each session has an estimated time frame. Sometimes it goes quicker and sometimes it runs over. This is an estimate based on the average amount of time it takes to produce the number of images purchased for each specific package.


What will my session be like? LOTS OF FUN! I am quite a bubbly personality and enjoy chit chatting during our sessions. I love to find out how couples have met, families connect and how little ones are growing! I want to be friends and I truly care! So come prepared for fun! I am very relaxed and love to let the session flow how it will, and how children want it to.


What should I wear? Clothing choices are dependant on type of session, time of day and location. PLEASE message me for ideas, clothing example boards, and you can ALWAYS send me a photo of the outfits you've chosen, and we can go over the choices together.


How far out are you booked? Average is 4-8 weeks, sometimes longer depending on busy time of season.


Will I get the digital photos from my session? YES, you will get to choose a specific number based on the package that you purchased. ALL edited images will be located in the gallery for you to view WITH watermark, once you've made your selection & purchased any additional images ($10 per image extra) I will send you a link to download the images free of watermark.

How long will it take to get my images back?

My typical turn around currently is 14-24 days. During the busy season, I do stay pretty close to the 20-24 day mark. If you need an image or two early, please let me know & I can work on making one available for you, if possible.


How can I order prints and products from you? Your digital downloads will also include a print release, but I encourage printing through my lab, also available through your gallery. I keep prints low cost for this purpose. When you open your image, click the shopping cart at the bottom, this will provide you with a list of available sizes. Prints are mailed and typically arrive within a week of ordering.
