Christ The Servant Lutheran is a small congregation in a small church. It is easy to learn people's names (we even have name tags). It's even easier to make friends and find a church family in our established congregation, where you won't be overwhelmed or feel like just another face in the crowd.
Everyone is welcome and the ELCA has a strong commitment to diversity. Jesus welcomed the children, the sick, the sinners, the crowds, and everyone else, without question, and we will too! We welcome everyone, regardless of age, race, gender, family status, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious background, political leanings, or anything else. It doesn't matter if you've been a lifelong churchgoer or are just curious what it's all about - we're just happy to see you!
We have a liturgically-based service, with forgiveness, scripture, a sermon, prayers, communion, and wonderful music every Sunday.
There are Sunday School classes for children and adults, and a nursery with an attendant close to the sanctuary for wiggly children.
There are a variety of activities outside of the worship service in which you can choose to participate, or you can start your own ministry; we are very supportive of each other. Your level of participation is up to you.
