CITC Johnson-O'Malley Education

The Johnson O'Malley Education Program with the Cook Inlet Tribal Council offers supplementary, culturally appropriate programs and services that meet unique and specialized educational needs of Alaska Native and American Indian students enrolled in the Anchorage School District.

The Johnson O'Malley Native Education Committee is comprised of 7 board members who have children enrolled in the Anchorage School District.

The Johnson O'Malley Board holds quarterly meetings, an annual parent meeting, and a graduate/student celebration.

The Johnson O'Malley program provides funding to a number of educational programs and services - NYO and JNYO, Student Activities Grant, Summer Cultural Camps, Tutoring, and Anchorage Realizing Indigenous Student Excellence (ARISE).
