Copper Moon Studio Gallery & Gifts

Copper Moon first opened its doors just outside Toledo, Ohio, in a small historic building in Holland, in November of 2006. Word spread quickly about the funky finds and unique designs. As the business grew and earned a loyal fan base in the NW Ohio area, space was becoming more and more limited. Soon the Moon would move to a new location just up the road with more room and potential for growth for fused glass artwork.

Owner and artist, Stacy Owen, teamed up with her father and realtor, Bruce Wetzel, to find the perfect spot for the new studio. The new location took about a year of renovations, but the result was well worth the wait. The new studio opened in November 2011 and features a spacious gallery to showcase the plethora of fused glass designs and techniques created by Stacy Owen and her creative team. Two classrooms were also added to offer fused glass classes to the public to let the creative spirits join in on the fusing glass fun! The new studio is one of the largest fusing glass facilities in the state housing 6 kilns, 70+ colors of glass, while offering custom designs and fused glass classes for children and adults. Copper Moon is a local favorite for finding the perfect gift and has been voted the Best Independent Gallery and Best Place to Buy Local Art for several years running. New fused glass designs hit the gallery floor every day, so each trip is different from the last!

The Moon is operated by the small hard-working Moon Crew. The Moon Crew are experienced in the fused glass medium, participate in the creative process from start to finish and enjoy sharing the fusing experience with our students in our very popular fused glass classes. We pride ourselves on a fun, relaxed atmosphere with an appreciation for creativity. We also open our facilities to other artists to purchase supplies and rent kilns.

One of the newest additions to the facility is a plasma cutter, allowing us the ability to work with metals like copper, steel and more. This medium will bring new designs and inspirations, expanding on our diverse collection of fused glass artwork.

The Moon offers plenty of parking, is handi-capped accessible and offers the facility for private parties and classes.
