Statement of Purpose


1. Reaching Up. Our first and central purpose is to worship God, spend time in His presence and grow in intimacy as we minister to Him. We believe this is God’s house. We are in His presence as we enthrone Him with our praises. All other ministry is secondary and flows out of our primary focus. We believe God is restructuring the church like the Tabernacle of David where praise and worship and His manifest presence and glory are at the center. Our goal is to equip and impart his vision to the body of Christ.


2. Reaching In. Our second purpose is to become like Jesus. We are called to equip the church in order to grow in maturity and minister through the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit. We believe the heart of the Holy Spirit is to conform us into the image of Christ and empower us to walk in holiness and fruitful supernatural ministry. Discipleship and equipping the saints for ministry (Eph. 4:11-12) will always be a primary value.


3. Reaching Out. The heart and ministry of Jesus was to reach and heal broken people. This priority is found in Luke 4:18-19, which is the ministry statement of Jesus – under God’s anointing, to preach the gospel, heal the broken, to proclaim liberty and deliverance to the blind, broken and oppressed. We are called to search for and care for people who need God, and to demonstrate His love by the power and manifestation of the Holy Spirit.
