This is the official page of Dr. Maryam Dadkhah, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist/Certified Personal Trainer. While she keeps updated with the latest science, she applies it to her counseling. Her counseling goal is to help people achieve a healthy lifestyle and make independent healthful choices. Seeing her clients succeed and achieve their goals is her greatest satisfaction. With over fifteen years of experience in the field of health and nutrition, Maryam provides counseling to both adults and children. She specializes in weight management, and helps patient with elevated blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides, diabetes, pediatric, gastrointestinal to make appropriate changes to their lifestyle and eating habits. She has worked in multiple inpatient and outpatient settings in Iran, Washington DC, Colorado, and New York. She is currently running her private practice, an author of a monthly nutrition page in a local newspaper in the DC area, manager of a Facebook page focusing on Nutrition and Dietetics with over 100,000 followers, and nutrition expert for Voice of America TV.
