Eight Winds Aikido Society

Carmen Pelusi Sensei created Eight Winds Aikido Society in 1984. Pelusi Sensei calls his style of Aikido Takemusu. His original intention was to pass on his knowledge to a handful of students. That handful of students has become thousands over the years. Pelusi Sensei is harmony in motion, with the sensitivity, flow and blending of evasion and control with his gentle softness going from one technique to another, with a never ending form. His teaching of unlimited creativity continues to build with variations and combinations not thought possible, his informal, easy going manner, and years of training makes it look so simple and effortless, but most of all he makes it fun to train.
