Foothill Leadership Academy

Foothill Leadership Academy is a free, public, charter school in Sonora, California.

* We serve children from kindergarten through eighth grade.

*The Tuolumne County Office of Education is our authorizing entity.

* We believe that learning is an active process through which people construct their own meaning and knowledge.

* We integrate the arts into all of our classrooms. For example, we will combine natural science with gardening and recycling. Language Arts is combined with music and drawing etc. Research shows strong academic knowledge and problem solving skills come through an arts-integrated, hands-on environment.
