Higgins is a city in Lipscomb County, Texas, United States, named after G.H. Higgins, a stockholder in the Santa Fe Railroad. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 4.94% of the population.There were 198 households out of which 19.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.0% were married couples living together, 6.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 41.4% were non-families. 38.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 26.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
