Electric Nomad Dance

Electric Nomad Dance (formerly Illumination Dance Studio) is Richmond's only studio dedicated to bellydance in all its incarnations and related forms for all ages and levels, under the direction of Twila Jane (formerly Khalima!). We offer classes in several forms of classic, tribal and fusion bellydance, drumming, and special musical and dance events. We feature a beautiful sprung wood floor, a fully mirrored wall, and knowledgeable, friendly and passionate teachers.

We offer group and private instruction in many styles to all levels and ages. Please contact the studio if you have any questions.

We operate on a fully sliding scale payment system, and seek to create alternative economies and community within our space. All are welcome here!
