We all want to live a happy life but sometimes we are just "stuck" with a problem that seems to be getting in our way. Counseling focuses on your strengths and ability to change self limiting behaviors and thoughts. My focus as a counselor is to help you gain insight and mastery over your problems by suggesting and teaching healthier ways to cope and reduce stress. The goal of therapy is to stop the behaviors that have had devastating effects on you and those around you and to create more of what you do want in your life; healthy relationships, meaningful time with family and friends, feeling comfortable in your own skin, and sustained peace of mind.

I specialize in the treatment of adolescents as well as families who are struggling with anxiety, depression, school/academic concerns, or some type of adjustment in their lives. Some of the reasons people seek help with me include the following (but are not limited to): Anxiety, Depression, Stress Management, Grief Counseling, and Conflict Resolution.
