Welcome to Kalapawai Cafe & Deli! Proudly serving Kailua since 2006, we’re a local neighborhood restaurant offering fresh, seasonally-inspired meals prepared with locally-sourced, natural ingredients.

We welcome you to stop by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Our Kailua-style coffee shop and deli is open daily, and dinner is served Monday - Thursday. We offer a wide variety of menu options, from a quick breakfasts on-the-go to classic deli sandwiches. Try our famous Kailua Club, made with turkey pepper, Monterey Jack, and fresh, local tomatoes and sprouts.

Kalapawai Cafe & Deli proudly supports our local farmers. Our seasonally-inspired dinner menu features thoughtfully prepared starters, seafood, steaks, soups, and salads prepared with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. We frequently make changes to our dinner menu based on the availability of local items. We’re certain you’ll be able to taste the freshness and quality in every bite!

We also offer an excellent selection of fine wines and premium beers. Join us on the second Sunday of every month for our free wine tasting!
