The Kansas Chamber has long been the leading voice for the business community in the Kansas Legislature, but the Chamber could not be successful in their policy and legislative work without the election of free-enterprise, pro-business legislators. That is where the Chamber PAC comes in by supporting and endorsing candidates who are committed to the free-enterprise system and support Kansas Chamber policy objectives. The Chamber PAC’s political priorities include electing legislative champions who understand the fundamental role that business plays in the economic health of Kansas and who will promote legislation that lowers the cost of doing business in our great state.

Elections matter and the policy makers we send to Topeka determine whether Kansas businesses will either thrive or suffer under the burden of an ever expanding government. In 2016 every legislative seat is up for election! We must elect and maintain in office, legislators who will lead the charge for business and protect our pro-business majority at the Statehouse in Topeka. Although considered the leading business political action committee in the state, the Chamber PAC is regularly significantly outspent by big-government groups set on raising the cost of doing business in Kansas. Although the Kansas Chamber averages around 450 members at any given time, the Chamber PAC has relied in recent years on very small pool of committed, freedom-loving investors (often fewer than 130 businesses and individuals) shouldering the burden of ensuring the election of free market candidates on behalf of the entire Kansas business community.
