KBWG

KBWG-lp is an emergency LPFM radio station that the Town of Browning applied for back in the early 2000's under Mayor Willie Morris. The town was granted the license and got a Grant to purchase the station's equipment. KBWG came on air in 2004 and has been broadcasting ever since. For its first six years, KBWG was an unmanned old-time country station. In November 2010 under Mayor Lockley Bremner, the town called out to local people interested in being volunteer DJ's. The response was overwhelming! We nicknamed the station "Thunder Radio", and KBWG has been manned by the volunteer DJ's ever since. Each DJ plays his/her own favorite kind of music from their own personal library. KBWG also got a grant to help purchase remote equipment which they use to broadcast high school sporting events and other community events. KBWG also broadcasts PSA's (public service announcements) to keep the community informed. We ask you to donate to KBWG so we can continue bringing the information and entertainment to you.
