Lee House is owned and operated by local businessmen Tosh Belsinger, President of Gulf Blue Group, and the Merrill brothers: Collier, Burney, and Will of Great Southern Restaurants and Merrill Land Company.

Belsinger's Gulf Blue Group is a synergistic collection of Gulf Coast companies; Gulf Blue Vacations, a Gulf Coast vacation rental and hospitality company managing hundreds of properties on Pensacola Beach, Navarre Beach, Gulf Shores, and Seaside; Bluetique, an elegant and fun coastal clothing and jewelry boutique for women and children located in historic downtown Pensacola; Gulf Blue Development, a real estate development company; and Sunny Days, a foundation supporting pediatric oncology. Belsinger and his team bring their experience and passion for Gulf Coast tourism, lodging, hospitality, community reach and customer service to Lee House, and will be responsible for day-to-day operations.

The Merrills’ Great Southern Restaurants have been a fixture in downtown Pensacola for well over 15 years, and include the Fish House, Atlas Oyster House, Jackson’s Steakhouse, Palafox House and Great Southern Catering & Events. Great Southern's combination of distinctively different destinations offers creative cuisine, Southern charm, and hospitality to locals and visitors alike. Over the years, the Great Southern Restaurants have won numerous awards, including the Independent News’ Best of the Coast and the Pensacola News Journal’s Best Restaurant, Seafood and Steak awards; several of Florida Trend’s Golden Spoon awards and a number of consecutive Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence. In addition, Great Southern chefs Irv Miller and Jim Shirley were invited and participated in three dinners at the prestigious James Beard House in New York. The Merrills and their team bring their extensive food and beverage, as well as catering and event experience, to Lee House, offering locals, tourists, brides and businesses the wonderful event and cuisine experiences that are synonymous with Great Southern Restaurants.
